At the 88th community weekly MeetUp, which took place on January 25, the following topics were discussed: Everscale and Tezos Hackathon, presentation of NFT Alliance, Dune Swap update. This article provides an overview of the highlights of the MeetUp.

Tezos DeFi Developers Hackathon 

Speaker Ivan Kotelnikov began the presentation by explaining the partnership between the Everscale and Tezos blockchains: the Tezos community has very original ideas in terms of resource management. The Tezos DeFi Hackathon 2022 will be held online from February 1 to 28. Ivan called the hackathon the largest event in the Russian-speaking community. Hackathon members will choose 2 out of 12 challenges, the list of which includes the development of DeBot and bridge between Tezos and Everscale. There are also challenges from Tezos and Avalanche. One team (up to 6 people) will be able to receive $55 000 max.

At the very beginning of the event, teams will be able to take part in workshops to get acquainted with the tools. Hackathon can help attract more developers to Everscale, since after teams take part in challenges, participants can stay with our community.

Registration for Hackathon will last until January 31. 

NFT and GameFi Alliance

NFT and GameFi Alliance is a community of like-minded people with the goal of creating an environment for substantial and sustainable growth of Everscale. The alliance includes itgold.io, GrandBazar.io, ChessNFT.com, NFT Third place, Rust Cup Game, Broxus, ScalePunks.com, SVOI.dev, NFTWiki, TonLoot. 

The alliance will allocate funds to NFT and GameFi projects with a good reputation, and teams, in turn, will develop products using Everscale.

The activities of NFT and GameFi Alliance are aimed at:

• Growth of the popularity of NFT on Everscale, increase NFT number and turnover;
• Increase the number of transactions in Everscale;
• Attraction of new NFTs and GameFi projects to Everscale;
• Support for NFT and GameFi teams in creating new Everscale-based projects;
• Support for successful Everscale projects in customization.

The alliance also plans to solve a number of technical problems of Everscale related to NFT. An important item of the proposal from NFT and GameFi Alliance is the launch of the Creators Program, a program aimed at attracting well-known authors in the NFT area to promote Everscale NFT.

Dune Swap updates

A full swap of tokens is planned on Dune, it will take several weeks. After that, Dune Swap will have the opportunity to focus exclusively on Everscale. Dune Swap will swap about a million EVER each month. In total, Dune Swap has 9 million EVER.
