The problems facing the world are too vast and complex to be solved solely by innovation or technology. Though both are critical, they aren't sufficient without being informed and ultimately driven by a deeper understanding of how to support all life.
This talk explores the role empathy plays in upgrading our underlying value systems, allowing us to leverage technology and innovation to create a world that supports a thriving of all life. James Schmachtenberger, CEO at Neurohacker, is a San Diego area tech and wellness entrepreneur, filmmaker, political activist and former director of a holistic health college. James' broad and accomplished background stems from a unique education emphasizing the interconnected nature of large scale problems. This has driven James his entire life to approach societal challenges with solutions that account for the entirety of a problem rather than solving for one issue while creating another.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
